If you value toxin removal at the lowest price then the Best Water Filter Ever is better. In most cases, reverse osmosis (RO) does a very good job of removing toxins however it is still not as good as the BWFE. Our lab results are available right here on our website. If you’d like to compare to RO, google “reverse osmosis removal chart” and look at a few of the images that come up. What you’ll see is RO does a good job with toxin removal but it isn’t as effective as the BWFE. For example, most RO systems remove 90-95 percent of fluoride while the BWFE removes 97%. Safer water at a lower price is what the BWFE is best at.
Even Superman had kryptonite. The Best Water Filter Ever (BWFE) has its limitations. The following situations are ones where we don’t recommend BWFE:
We have published the list of contaminants that were tested by an independent laboratory. If the toxin you are concerned about isn’t listed, it hasn’t been tested yet. If you’d like us to test for a specific contaminant with our next test, please email your request to email@example.com
So far, The Best Water Filter Ever has been effective with every contaminant we have tested. This is not a guarantee of future results, but it does leave us hopeful that as more testing is done we’ll have even more to be happy about.
Most people install The Best Water Filter Ever under the kitchen sink with a dedicated drinking water faucet. This is recommended because your filter will last much longer if you use it for drinking water only rather for the water you use to wash dishes with too.
Keep in mind, you can install The Best Water Filter Ever in many locations such as the water going into your refrigerator, a wet bar sink, a water fountain, a hydration station, a water cooler or really anywhere else.
We recommend hiring a licensed plumber to install The Best Water Filter Ever and many homeowners choose to install it themselves. If your fittings are accessible and in good order the installation is likely to take only a few minutes.
This question is really two in one…
The Best Water Filter Ever (BWFE) is 7.5 inches long and about 1.5 inches wide. There isn’t a “replacement” filter, just a filter.
Our filters aren’t recyclable. Each one takes the place of over 200 Brita pitchers and 64,000 water bottles so we are doing a fairly amazing job from a sustainability standpoint. And, there is still room for improvement.
